Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology (the “College”) is requesting proposals from potential vendors for the licensing and implementation of a commercially available SaaS Student Information System (“SIS”) solution which will manage student data, serving as the core system of record for the College.
The scope of services include all implementation services and SaaS license(s), data and software hosting services, and maintenance and support services for the term of the resulting agreement as specified in this RFP.
The SIS will provide capabilities for, among other things, registering students in courses; documenting grading, transcripts, results of student tests and other assessment scores; building student schedules; tracking student attendance; and managing many other student-related data needs in a school.
The SIS will sit at the core of the group of software systems designed to integrate the main functional areas of the College’s business processes, known as the institution’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation to prospective vendors to submit Proposals for the SIS solution and related licensing, data and software hosting services, maintenance and support services as further described in the main body of this RFP (collectively “SaaS Services”) and the services to implement the SIS solution, including setup, integration and data migration as further described in Schedules F.2, F.3 and F.4 (collectively the “Implementation Services”) for the proposed solution as further described in Part 2 – Scope of Work and Deliverables. Together the SaaS Services and Implementation Services are the “Services”.
To be considered, Proposals must cover the full scope of Services. The College will not consider Proposals that cover only part of the Services.
