Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified consulting engineering companies to provide services for the work as described in Section 5 and for the City of Steinbach to enter into an Agreement with the Proponent whose proposal is judged to serve the best interests of the City of Steinbach. The 2023 Lift Station #2 Upgrades generally consist of:
• Replacement of existing pumps, new control panel, electrical panels, and equipment relocated to a new control room (repurposed existing generator room) and a new generator room addition.
• Installation of 390m of 350mm force main, from Lift Station #2 to the wastewater sewer manhole at the Loewen Boulevard and Home Street intersection.

One (1) electronic copy (in PDF format with a file size no larger than 10 Megabytes) of each Response must be received before 11:00 AM, Central Time, on February 8, 2023 to the e-mail address on the front cover of the attached RFP. The e-mail subject line should be clearly marked with the name of the Proponent and '2023 Lift Station #2 Upgrades Engineering Proposal'. Responses received after the date and time set out on the front cover of this RFP will not be accepted.
