Description

The Ministry is procuring a Monitor to replace an end-of-life analyzer in its air monitoring network. Ultrafine particles (UFPs) are an emerging concern due to their potential health impacts, including respiratory and cardiovascular issues. Despite their significance, there is currently limited UFP data available for health studies, and understanding the pervasiveness of ultrafine particles in the environment remains a challenge.

This new monitor will play a key role in enhancing the Ministry’s ability to measure and assess ultrafine particulate matter in ambient air. The data collected will support ongoing research, help fill critical gaps in public health studies, and contribute to the Ministry’s broader air quality monitoring and protection initiatives. The Ultrafine Particle Counter Monitor must be delivered to the Ministry's Environmental Monitoring and Reporting Branch in Etobicoke, Ontario, by March 31, 2025.
Scope of Work
This Request for Bids (RFB) is an invitation to prospective Bidders to submit Tenders for the supply and delivery of one (1) Ultrafine Particle Counter Monitor to Ministry of the Environment, Conservation, and Parks Reporting Branch in Etobicoke, Ontario by March 31, 2025.
