TIAPEI is seeking proposals from experienced, qualified, full-service market research firms to conduct this online research in the UK. Qualified companies will have proven expertise in research design methodologies, online survey development and design, online surveying, data collection, data management and data tabulation to design, deliver and implement an online survey.
The qualified company must demonstrate a strong knowledge of the tourism industry in Atlantic Canada and have significant experience working with government or industry on tourism-related research.
The intent of the research is to gain market insights into UK travellers’ in terms of:
- Level of destination knowledge of Atlantic Canada/provinces;
- Past trips to Atlantic Canada/individual provinces – activities/experiences participated in, trip motivators, likelihood to return, etc.;
- Use of travel agents, FIT, group, packaged travel for past/potential trips to Atlantic Canada/provinces specifically;
- Seasonality – among those likely or interested in visiting, when would they visit Atlantic Canada/provinces;
- Levels of awareness, familiarity with Atlantic Canada/provinces (in terms of destination and product/experiences/USPs);
- Destination appeal, ad / creative evaluation and impact of ad exposure on likelihood to visit;
- What UK travellers would expect to do on a trip to Atlantic Canada/provinces (unaided/top of mind destination associations/impressions);
- Aided and unaided ad recall;
- Barriers/perceived obstacles for travel to Atlantic Canada/provinces;
- Things that would encourage travel to Atlantic Canada/provinces (air access/direct routes, etc.); and
- Motivating factors to visit Atlantic Canada/provinces.
Proposals should be submitted to the undersigned no later than 9:00 a.m. (Atlantic Time) on December 18, 2024. The contract for this assignment will be awarded on or about January 14, 2025. The assignment should be completed by March 31, 2025. Proposals should be submitted to:
