The Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island (TIAPEI), in its capacity as Recipient to the Atlantic Canada Agreement on Tourism (ACAT) is seeking proposals from qualified program evaluation consultants to conduct annual and end-of-Agreement evaluations to assess overall effectiveness of the ACAT and its impact on the tourism industry in Atlantic Canada. In addition to providing an opinion on the Agreement’s governance structure the evaluation will consider:
• The direct and indirect outcomes of the Agreement on the regional tourism economy;
• Procedures developed to establish targets;
• Effectiveness of the monitoring of the accomplishments of the Agreement to ensure suitable information is available for accountability; and
• Expected results, outputs and performance information collected and used to report on the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and overall impact of the Atlantic Canada Agreement on Tourism.
