PCL/ED, a Joint Venture, acting as the Construction Manager (CM) for the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project, requests quotation from previously prequalified Bidders for the Work outlined in this Tender Package.
Bidders should submit a technical and financial proposal to supply Metal Door and Window Conservator / Materials Specialist services to assist the Construction Management and Consultant Teams with a programme of Investigations. The Successful Bidder will be responsible for assessing and analyzing existing conditions, as well as providing recommendations for interventions, as required.
The scope of work for metal doors and windows at the Centre Block building comprises of metal (steel/bronze) windows and doors set in masonry surrounds as well as planning, design and production for new steel/bronze framed windows and doors. As part of a comprehensive investigations programme we require the services of a specialist in the conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of historic metal doors and windows. Experience and knowledge of the fabrication of new metal doors and windows and historical reproductions suitable for use in rehabilitated heritage buildings, with new functional requirements, is also required.
