Pomerleau Inc., acting as Contractor for the project on behalf of Defence Construction Canada (the Client) for the Department of National Defence (the Owner), is pleased to invite you to bid on this Construction Work Package (CWP).
Note the purpose of this tender is to obtain pricing for the pile supply as described within the document. A lump sum price for the pile supply of different sizes of pipe pile and sheet pile will be provided as part of this tender submission. The drawings included as part of this tender package are currently at an IFT level. The unit prices carried within the PRICING TABLE will be considered while making adjustments to the lump sum price resulting from changes to the piling plan following the issuance of the IFC documents for the full structure.
Bidders interested in participating in this call for tenders shall be required to obtain all drawings and tender documents from the Building Connected platform or the MERX Private website, subject to the applicable conditions of the site. All interested parties to confirm intention to bid via email to ajettybid@pomerleau.ca by December 3rd, 2024.
All Bids shall be accompanied by a rate for bid security for 10% of the bid amount, The bid bond shall be on the CCDC 220-2002 form, or any other equivalent acceptable form. The designated beneficiary should be Pomerleau Inc., the Contractor.

There will be a non-mandatory site visit scheduled at CFB Esquimalt. During this presentation, site constraints will be reviewed, and bidders will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the scope of work. Please register your attendance in advance with Greg Ekholm, Project Manager, at ajettybid@pomerleau.ca. The bidder cannot visit the job site without pre-approval. The bidder assumes all responsibility for obtaining sufficient information and is fully content and satisfied that full knowledge of all matters affecting the proper execution and completion of the work described in the specifications and/or drawings relating to the tender has been obtained.
