Description

The Work to be done consists of:
1              Road Rehabilitation of Gaspésie Road from Begin / Petite Gaspesie intersection easterly to Ontario Northland Railway (2.3km) including culvert replacements, ditch cleaning, full-depth reclamation of existing asphalt and asphalt pavement.
2              A 3-consecutive-day road closure of Gaspesie Road will be permitted for the culvert replacements.
3              Asphalt patching at various locations in Town.
4              Other miscellaneous construction works.

Information for Tenderers
6. Delivery and Opening of Tenders
6.1 The Town of Hearst requires that Tenderers use the two-envelope system to submit their tender.
.1 The first envelope to be opened first shall contain the tender deposit (10% certified cheque or as described in the Tender) and the Agreement to Bond.
.2 The second envelope shall contain the Tender Form, Standard Tender Requirements, Contractor’s Qualification Statement, Schedule of Unit Prices, Schedule of Work and any other form as required by the Tender Documents.
Both envelopes are to be sealed and opaque and clearly marked as to the contents.
Envelope #1 – Agreement to Bond & Tender Deposit
Envelope #2 – Form of Tender and other forms
Envelope #1 must contain the Agreement to Bond and Tender Deposit otherwise the Tender will be deemed non-compliant and Envelope #2 will not be opened.
Tenderers shall ensure that the outside of the envelopes bears the Tenderer’s
